Cooper’s Hawk is more than a restaurant for us. It is one of the local spots we discovered shortly after moving to Florida and it quickly became a favorite. Located in an unusual shopping center with a challenging entrance, it might not look like much from the outside. But once you walk in, you are transported into a warm, inviting world built around wine tasting, culinary exploration, and an atmosphere that feels inspired by California wine country.
Ambiance and Décor
The moment you step inside, you are greeted by a beautiful tasting room filled with wine, gifts, accessories, and upscale displays. It feels like a blend between a Napa Valley shop and a modern dining space. The ambiance sets the mood for the experience that follows. It is elegant yet approachable and creates a sense of anticipation before you even sit down.

Menu and Drinks
The menu is one of the best features of Cooper’s Hawk. With more than one hundred items, seasonal specials, and dishes crafted around global flavors, there is always something new to enjoy. Executive Chef Matt McMillin has created a menu that celebrates creativity while still offering familiar comfort. Each dish comes with a wine pairing suggestion from their winemaker, listed by bin number, which makes choosing a bottle or glass effortless.
We love that every dish is made from scratch using peak of season ingredients. The variety of offerings and constant rotation of specials ensures that no two visits feel the same.

Food Quality
The food at Cooper’s Hawk consistently delivers. As members of the wine club, we enjoy visiting each month to try a new wine release and pair it with something we have never ordered before. The flavors are balanced, the portions are generous, and the presentation always stands out. We have yet to order a dish that did not impress us.
The brussels sprouts deserve a special mention. They are perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and sized for sharing. They are one of the best items on the menu and a dish we recommend to everyone.
