Welcome to In the Kitchen with The Culinary Duo, where Peter and Susan trade their table for an apron and step behind the kitchen doors to get up close and personal with the talented chefs creating some of the dishes they love.
This isn’t a traditional restaurant review. This is where The Culinary Duo gets hands-on. Peter and Susan travel to restaurants throughout Northeast Florida and beyond, meeting chefs, exploring their kitchens, discovering their techniques, and learning firsthand how their signature dishes are created. And when the chef is willing, Peter and Susan may even get put to work.
Pull up a chair, or better yet, grab an apron. We’re going In the Kitchen.
Every great dish starts with someone who cares about getting it right. Peter and Susan sit down with the chefs behind the food, hearing their stories, watching how they work, and discovering the techniques that make their kitchens run.
Then they get hands-on themselves, chopping, searing, plating, and asking a lot of questions along the way.
It’s part cooking demonstration, part restaurant discovery, part chef profile and always a Culinary Duo adventure.
Every featured chef has something to teach: a technique worth stealing, an ingredient worth seeking out, or a small trick that turns a good dish into a great one.
We share what we learn so you can take a little of that restaurant magic home with you.
And don’t worry, Peter and Susan aren’t standing safely on the other side of the counter. They’re cooking too. Sometimes successfully. Sometimes…well, you’ll have to watch the video.
