Kotobuki Asian Cuisine in Ponte Vedra Beach is a casual neighborhood restaurant serving sushi, customizable rolls, teppanyaki dishes, and other Asian favorites. The strongest part of our visit was the sushi program, especially the ability to build a personalized roll using fresh fish and generous toppings. Susan’s Filet Mignon Teppanyaki and the well-prepared vegetables were additional highlights. The meal was not completely consistent. The fried rice lacked texture and flavor, the noodles were overcooked, and the scallop portion felt limited for the price. Even with those concerns, the restaurant gave us a clear reason to return: more sushi, more custom combinations, and another opportunity to explore the menu’s strengths.
