About

Café Alcazar, located inside the Lightner Museum in downtown St. Augustine, offers one of the city’s most unusual lunch experiences. The dining room occupies the former indoor swimming pool of Henry Flagler’s historic Hotel Alcazar, surrounding guests with dramatic Gilded Age architecture. During our visit, we enjoyed French onion soup, a turkey and cranberry sandwich, Greek soup and salad, blackened fish over seasoned rice with roasted red peppers and grilled asparagus, refreshing white sangria, flourless chocolate cake, and Key lime pie. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and supported by excellent service and live music.
